Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are engaged! The boyfriend and girlfriend became fiances on May 31, 2012 when Liam proposed with a giant 3.5 carat ring! Ever since the news broke yesterday, many of Miley’s fans have been concerned that she is too young to get married, however according to reports Miley and Liam have no plans to get married right away.

People in the olden days married when they were like 14. She’s obviously old enough to handle herself and doesn’t need people making desisions or suggestions for her. I just hope it works out.
