Selena Gomez Talks About The Paparazzi On The Set Of “Spring Breakers”

June 24, 2012 • By Home

Selena Gomez had a lot of anxiety on the set of her movie “Spring Breakers” because the paparazzi were following her around daily. Selena revealed more details about the stressful time in her life to Elle Magazine:

I broke down. They weren’t giving me any space. I said I would give them their shot if they would just go away. But they wouldn’t. I was trying to do something I really cared about, and they just weren’t giving me the chance to do it. Then Harmony [the director] said, ‘That’s it. Say everything you just said, but have Faith say it.’ I think Faith has all those church people juding her, and she’s finally doing something that allows her to be free and become the person she wants to be. I’m not sure I can always relate to her in certain aspects, but to that part I did.

Faith is Selena’s character in the movie. It looks like the advice Selena received worked because after the first couple weeks of filming Selena’s mood seemed to improve and she seemed happier on the set!

We can’t wait to see “Spring Breakers” when it arrives in theaters next year!
