Should There Be A “Wizards Of Waverly Place” Remake With Selena Gomez?
We LOVE the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place,” and we miss it dearly! Just today the name “Alex Russo” was trending on Twitter – that’s the character that was played by Selena Gomez.
Everyone Tweeting about Alex said that they loved her character and they wished she was still on TV. While we know that Selena isn’t interested in returning to the Disney Channel right now, and who can blame her with how many movies she’s lined up this year on top of being busy with her fragrance, clothing line, nail polish line, business ventures and music! But, there’s always the future!
We think it would be really awesome if Selena returned to the Disney Channel as an adult to work on a “Wizards of Waverly Place” remake. Hear us out here! If Selena starred in a remake of the show she could play the mom character, which was played by Maria Canals-Barrera this last time around. Then, there would be a whole new cast of wizard kids and there could be guest appearances from the kids’ uncles – David Henrie and Jake T. Austin.
We could totally see this happening in 10 years. Could YOU?

I would love the Wizard Of A Waverly Place to have a remake as it was the first show I saw on disney channel. After 10 years it would be nice if she does be the mom could she would look grown up as she would be probaby 30 years old and by then i would be 21…So yh it would be good wow I`ve spoke alot lol.
I’d like it better if it was on the CW, and for your information, this was posted a few days after I saw the Wizards finale, which served as my reunion special, so that’s another reason why this special is out of the question for me!
