Disney Junior’s “Sofia The First: Once Upon A Princess” Movie Will Premiere On November 18, 2012
Disney Junior’s new show “Sofia The First” is set to arrive in 2013, but first a “Sofia The First” movie will premiere on the channel on November 18, 2012 titled “Sofia The First: Once Upon A Princess.” The main character Sofia is voiced by “Modern Family” actress Ariel Winter.
Both the movie and the series follow Sofia as she becomes a princess when her mother Queen Miranda (Sara Ramirez) marries King Roland II. Sofia will gain two step-siblings through the marriage – James and Amber.
Sofia is enrolled at Royal Prep school and “Sleeping Beauty” fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather are the headmistresses at the school.
Sofia will also be able to talk to animals in the movie and the series. Sofia’s best friend is a rabbit named Clover who is voiced by Wayne Brady!
