October 4, 2012 • By Home

Taylor Swift’s record label Big Machine Records will be releasing the music from ABC’s new show “Nashville,” which premieres on October 10, 2012. The new series will feature a number of musical performances each week, and at least one song per episode will be released to iTunes thanks to Big Machine Records.

Big Machine Records will also handle the release of any soundtrack for the show.

We wonder if this means that Taylor Swift will record any songs for the new show, or if she will guest star on it? The show stars actors Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. Here’s a description of the upcoming series from IMDb:

A fading Nashville superstar is forced to team up with a teen sensation or face the loss of her tour and promotion of her latest records.
