Disney’s “Saving Mr. Banks” movie, starring Tom Hanks as Walt Disney, will film at Disneyland on November 6, 2012 and November 7, 2012. Sections of the park will be blocked off during this time and park guests won’t be able to see the filming taking place since the film crews will be obstructing the view of the film locations. Movie executives want the filming locations blocked off so well because they don’t want to accidentally film any present day park guests since “Saving Mr. Banks” is set in 1964.
Park employees have been asked to play guests at the park as extras in the movie.
No word yet which stars will be at the park on the days the movie will shoot there, but if you are in the park those days be sure to be on the lookout for film crews!
