Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released “Pete’s Dragon” on a Blu-ray DVD combo pack! Here’s a description of the release:

The movie tells the story of a young boy named Pete who escapes the family that adopted him as they aren’t treating him very well. Pete’s invisible dragon friend Elliott helps him escape and acts as his protector during their journey. The duo make new friends along the way who care for them and keep them safe when Pete’s adoptive family comes looking for him.
The movie is similar to Disney’s “Mary Poppins” in that it uses live action mixed with animation as well as includes a number of fun songs. Kids of all ages will love Elliott the dragon each time he appears on the screen, and they’ll wish that they were Pete who gets to have such an awesome friend, who can become invisible at will!
