Disney Channel “Girl Meets World” Update
The Disney Channel is working on a “Boy Meets World” spin-off series called “Girl Meets World.” The show will focus on the daughter of Cory and Topanga, who is named Riley Matthews. In the show Cory and Topanga will also have a son named Elliot.
The pilot episode will be written and executive produced by Michael Jacobs who was the executive producer for the original series. The pilot will begin shooting in February 2013.
No word yet if any stars from the original series have signed on to reprise their roles, but our fingers are crossed! Especially since Disney wants Ben Savage (Cory) to play Riley’s history teacher!
