Steven Spielberg Will Not Direct The New “Star Wars” Movies

Everyone is excited about the news that there will be more “Star Wars” movies! “Star Wars: Episode VII” is scheduled to arrive in 2015, and writer Michael Arndt has just signed on to start penning the film.

No director has been announced for the movie yet, and Steven Spielberg has already revealed that he will NOT be a part of the franchise. Here’s what Steven told Access Hollywood:

No! It’s not my genre. It’s my best friend George’s genre.
