One Direction Alzheimers Auction

The UK group One Direction raised $2,000 for Alzheimer’s research by donating a shirt to an eBay auction. The guys each signed the shirt, which was auctioned off and the proceeds went to an Alzheimer’s Disease Charity.

According to reports, the guys decided to participate in the auction because Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Eleanor Calder has a grandfather affected by the disease.

We think it’s awesome that 1D participated in the auction and worked to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s.
