Will Disney Create Another “Monkey Island” Video Game?
Oh please, please, please! “Monkey Island” video game creator Ron Gilbert wants Disney to either hand over the rights to the franchise now that they have purchased the game under the LucasFilm deal that just went through, or he wants them to agree to make another “Monkey Island” video game!
The video game franchise follows a pirate named Guybrush Threepwood as he meets a fabulous cast of characters with tons of wacky personalities. Guybrush must solve tons of mysteries and puzzles, and you really have to use your imagination for some of them! We would love to see another game full of hilarious sword fights and misadventures with Guybrush and his friends.

Dear Disney. I would like to buy the IP for a game I created called ‘Monkey Island’ from you. P.S. I have no money.
Looks like it’s up to Disney to decide whether or not to bring “Monkey Island” back again! We have our fingers crossed. Do YOU?
