Selena’s movie “Spring Breakers” is set to release to theaters in March, and she has warned all of her young fans not to see the film. It sure sounds like Jake’s Tweet is aimed at Selena!

   Though I’m quite certain that Jake is “aiming” at Selena with his tweet, I think Selena is just trying to capture an older audience. I think, based on others’ experience growing up as a “Disney Kid”, it took some time before they really got to do movies which their 12 year-old fans are not allowed to see because of their image. Selena’s already 20 and I think her fans would understand that she’s trying to do mature movies now that she’s getting older but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about them anymore, does it? At least she warned them that it’s not a good idea for someone whose too young to understand to watch the movie.
