Carly Rae Jepsen Pulls Out Of The 2013 Boy Scouts Of America Jamboree
Carly Rae Jepsen just announced that she will not be performing at the Boy Scouts Of America Jamboree concert in West Virginia this year. Carly’s reason for pulling out of the concert is the organization’s refusal to allow openly gay members.
Carly told her fans:
As an artist who believes in equality for all people, I will not be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree this summer…I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level, and stay informed on the ever changing landscape in the ongoing battle for gay rights in this country and across the globe.
Carly will be joining Justin Bieber at the 02 Arena for a second night tonight. She told her fans:
I CAN’T WAIT FOR TONIGHT!!! Round 2 at the O2!
