Scooter Braun Opens Up About Justin Bieber’s Retirement
A video was floating around the web this month of Justin Bieber telling a radio host that he was planning to retire. Justin even took to the web to joke about the rumor, revealing:
My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring. The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle. Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER
Here’s what Justin’s manager Scooter Braun had to say about the original video:
This is the fun thing about these Vines [videos] people post: they’re only a certain amount of time, so they cut off before the rest of the statement when he says ‘just kidding.’ He hasn’t taken time off since he was 12… he knows he wants it, and wants to spend time with this family. His younger brother and sister are starting to grow up and he doesn’t want to miss their childhood. I think for his wellbeing at 19, 20 years old, [it’s good for him] to take time for himself, to figure out who he wants to be.
Scooter wants Justin to take a year off, but after that he wants him to release a new album!
