Jeremy Bieber was there when Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami, Florida on January 23, 2014 after being pulled over for drag racing, DUI and driving on an expired license. Jeremy was also there to bail Justin out of jail with his $2,500 bond for the charges above as well as the charge of resisting arrest.

Jeremy took to Twitter after the ordeal to tell everyone that he can protect his children from everything except “the lies of the enemy.” Here’s the Tweet:

I can protect my kids, but I can’t protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #reallife

According to reports Justin’s dad spent the entire day with him leading up to his arrest, including heading to a club where Justin told police he had drank, taken prescription pills and smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel.
