Disney Interactive Studios Is Cutting 700 Jobs

Disney Interactive Studios, a video game and digital media subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company, is cutting 700 jobs worldwide. Offices will be closing in the following places:

New Jersey
South Korea

Disney Interactive revealed that it is cutting 26% of it’s workforce as it “has consolidated several lines of business as part of an effort to focus on the division on a streamlined suite of high quality digital products.”

No word yet if Disney plans to help the 700 employees find jobs throughout the Walt Disney Company.
