One Direction Louis Tomlinson Buys Doncaster Rovers

Louis Tomlinson just bought the Doncaster Rovers soccer team. He played on the team for a few games when he had a break from 1D performances, and he has also been a fan of the team for years!

Louis revealed:

I grew up in Doncaster and have felt the love for football run through the town, it’s for that reason that I have a real personal passion to make Doncaster Rovers a success story.

Louis will officially be named the owner of the team in July.

Louis is reportedly worth $25 million, but it’s unclear how much of his fortune is now in the Doncaster Rovers soccer team.

We’re curious if Louis sees an end to One Direction, and he is trying to diversify his assets. Perhaps Louis wants to start using his 1D money for his other passions so that when 1D ends in the future he will have other revenue streams.

One Direction’s manager Simon Cowell thinks the group will break up:

Eventually they probably will split and up and maybe want to have their own careers. The choice is theirs, and we’ve got the opportunity to do both. But from what I hear, they’re really enjoying what they’re doing and we don’t feel there’s anything seriously wrong here. They’re getting more time off and I hope they stay a band for a long time.

How much longer do YOU think the guys will be together?
