Disney Live Action Dumbo Movie

Disney is working on a live-action “Dumbo” movie! The film will be based on the classic animated Disney movie “Dumbo,” which arrived in theaters in 1941. “Dumbo” was the 4th animated Disney movie ever released!

The live action “Dumbo” film script will be written by Ehren Kruger, who penned the movie “Transformers: Age Of Extinction.”

We’re excited to see how Disney uses live animals in the movie – an elephant, a crow, a mouse and all of the circus animals from the original animated movie. Or, do you think the animals will be CGI animated – like Disney is doing for the live-action Jungle Book movie that is on the way?

In addition to working on a live-action “Dumbo” movie and a live-action version of “The Jungle Book,” Disney is also planning on a live-action version of “The Little Mermaid” movie. However, it’s unclear how they plan to shoot that film underwater!

There’s also a live-action “Cinderella” movie arriving in 2015 AND a live-action “Beauty And The Beast” movie in the begging stages of development. Phew – that’s a lot of live-action fairytale films!

Which live-action Disney movie are YOU most looking forward to? Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments section!
