Debby Ryan opened up big time about her debut album “One” on Twitter last night. Here’s what she told her fans:
“Guys, I’m awake tonight listening to my song about insomnia. Ironically.
I know I tell you guys a lot of secrets,
but can I tell you guys THE one big secret?
About this song
and the whole album
I moved around a lot. I felt alone a lot. and scared. And weird. I dreamt too big for such a little girl, in such a big world.
I wrote sometimes because I had a notebook and nobody else.
I wrote until I didn’t need anybody else.
And then, when it was just me and my stories, I learned that sometimes people could want to hear those stories.
To understand the stories.
I learned that the most important thing is not when someone understands your stories. It’s when your stories make people feel understood.
I stumbled across talented, lovely people that felt understood by my stories, and needed to help tell them.
So we became @TheNever_Ending.
And right now? This thing that was born out of feeling so alone means something to people.
I don’t feel alone in caring about this anymore.
Doing this album independently is not easy,
but it also means that
I get to share
whatever I want
whenever I want
with whomever I want
In the middle of the night in this hotel room,
I’m posting lyrics from my insomnia song, ‘Waltz (When The Dark Falls)’ on the band account.
It’s one of the first and truest songs I’ve ever written.
Let me know if it understands you like it understands me…
‘I don’t think I know
How to rest in the mellow and slow
I just make my bed
On the storm inside my head
Hours and hours in the day
And the rest I spend awake;
Hours and hours in the night
It’s the rest I try to fight.’
So that’s that. #One624 is for us.
I’m going to try & sleep now, lol
And hey, you should tell your stories. I’m learning that it’s worth it.”
We are beyond ready for Debby’s debut album “One” to arrive on June 24, 2014!
Debby Ryan just announced that her “Jessie” character will be getting married at the end of this season of the show, but we’re starting to think she won’t go through with the wedding!
Adam Bonnett, Disney Channel executive vice president of original programming, revealed:
The way we deal with this romance is very pure Disney fairy tale.
He also added that this fairytale has a surprise ending!
Plus, Debby added about weddings:
It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the wedding. It’s about the marriage. That’s something we lose sight of when we’re so young and all we want to do is dress up and play fairy tale.
Debby’s character Jessie Prescott will have a whirlwind romance with actor Pierson Fode on the show, and within a four episode arc they will plan their wedding, but will they go through with it? We wonder if the moral of the episode arc will be what Debby revealed – it’s not about the fairy tale wedding and wedding planning, it’s about the marriage. And perhaps her character will decide to hold off on marrying her brand new boyfriend.
What do you think – will Jessie get married?
Debby Ryan’s character on Disney Channel’s hit show “Jessie” is going to get married! There will be a four-episode arc about Jessie Prescott’s big day!
Turns out Jessie will have a whirlwind romance and she will soon be accepting her boyfriend’s proposal!
The four-episode wedding arc will end this season of the show.
Here’s a note from Adam Bonnett, Disney Channel Executive Vice President Of Original Programming, via ABC News:
Jessie is an adult, and we felt we could tackle this in a way that still feels appropriate for our audience. The way we deal with this romance is very pure Disney fairy tale.
Debby’s fairytale romance will be with actor Pierson Fode, who is dating Victoria Justice in real life!
Adam also revealed that there will be a surprise ending! He also added:
Our audience isn’t dealing with somebody proposing to them, but they are dealing with choices they have to make in their life, and thinking things through, following their heart and wanting to make the right choice.
Are you happy Jessie is getting married? And what do you think the surprise twist will be? Tweet us your guesses @Disney_Dreaming!
