It’s official, Demi Lovato is no longer a redhead. The former Disney star dyed her hair blonde yesterday, and posted the picture above to Twitter to show her fans her new look. Here’s what Demi posted along with the photo:

Demi Lovato Is Ready To Have A Great Year Thanks To Her Mom

Demi Lovato had a rough few years with the stress of the entertainment industry being a bit overwhelming for her, but with the help of her mother Dianna De La Garza she is now ready to have an amazing 2012. Here’s what Demi revealed to the UK’s Daily Record:

My mother is everything to me. She’s my anchor, she’s the person I go to when I need to talk to someone. She is an amazing woman. I got through it with the support of people like my mother. You can only make it when you feel that you are loved, no matter what, when you feel that you will get another chance. I am grateful and I am ready to make this year a much better year. I have so much energy now. I feel great.

We hope Demi has an amazing year this year!

Demi Lovato Is No Longer A Workaholic

In an interview with the UK’s Daily Record Demi Lovato spoke out about how some of her stress in recent years may have been caused by working too hard. Demi said she now takes more time for herself, and listens to her body:

Being a workaholic might have been the problem in the first place. I never stopped, I was like the energy bunny, I was going and going and going. No more of that. I am ready to lead a different life now. I listen to my body now, I eat better, I get my regular sleep. It’s amazing what a good night’s sleep can do. You feel so much better for it in the morning.

Demi Lovato Says She Used To Be Very Manipulative

Demi Lovato told Glamour UK that she used to be very manipulative before going to treatment for her eating disorder. Here’s what Demi revealed about her former attitude:

I was a very manipulative person when it came to my eating disorder. You name it, I did it. I would lie about already eating. I would lie about having to go to the bathroom. I would go to any lengths to make sure I was sick. I began compulsive eating at the age of eight. Then, when I started being bullied at 12, I stopped eating. I went from overeating to undereating to throwing up. It never really went away. I’d try, but the impulses would come back. You feel like you’re on a downward spiral, but you have to fight through it. I had real difficulty with my body image. It was hard to look at myself in magazines. My friends would say, ‘Wow you look so gorgeous.’ Everyone else was looking at what they thought as a beautiful girl, but I just couldn’t see that when I looked at myself.

Aww, we’re glad Demi got the help she needed!

We want to wish a very happy birthday to Demi Lovato’s older sister Dallas Lovato! Dallas was born on February 4, 1988 and she turns 24 years old today.

Demi has a new movie on the way called “The Helpers.” Here’s the description of the film from IMDB:

“Seven friends from Sacramento California all decide to go on a documented trip to Las Vegas. All seems fun until they hit a detour/road block. A couple hours of lost driving later, both of the back tires on the truck are blown out! After some moments of confusion and arguing, the gang comes up with the plan that all the girls will stay inside the truck while all the guys walk down the road to find HELP. A couple miles down the road, the guys find a little gas station Diner/Motel, run by the most friendly, polite and ‘helpful’ people. The guys think they’re in luck when they’re offered HELP by the super friendly gas station attendant, who just happens to be great with cars. It appears that their problems are solved, but boy are they wrong! When convinced by ‘The Helpers’ to stay overnight, the friends all wake up in their rooms to a new kind of gruesome and bloody terror!”

Demi Lovato was seen flying out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California on February 2, 2012. The former Disney star was on her way to the Iquique Festival in Chile, which she is performing at today (February 4, 2012). Be sure to let us know if you get to see Demi perform live at the festival!

Demi recently revealed that she isn’t ready to get back into acting yet, which we’re bummed about. But, that means she’ll be concentrating heavily on her music, which is great! We can’t wait to hear new tracks from Demi!

Selena Gomez revealed during her interview with Cosmopolitan magazine that her relationship with Demi Lovato is going strong! Here’s what Selena said about her BFF:

We didn’t have that much money coming out here [to LA], so we were living together to share expenses. There were seven of us girls living in one loft, including sisters and moms and everything. It was really interesting. There was a point when she and I were going our different ways, because we were figuring out who we were. Now, we’re better than ever.
