Aww, Disney Publishing sent us the cutest package to let us know that they have unveiled a new app! The new “Peter Pan” app is the first in a series of Disney Classics Storybook Apps for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The “Peter Pan” app features original illustrations by Disney legends John Hench and Al Dempster.
Here are some details about the Disney Classics Storybook App from Lyle Underkoffler, the VP of Disney Digital Media:
Disney Publishing has access to a vast library of stories and characters that we are now able to bring to a new generation of readers through mobile devices. We are particularly excited to add this app to our collection of Peter Pan-inspired books, including Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling Peter and the Starcatchers series, which will debut on Broadway this spring.
Here’s a description of the Peter Pan App:
“The Peter Pan App invites readers to join Wendy, John, and Michael on their adventures with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, Captain Hook and his swashbuckling crew of pirates. Built into the story of are interactive puzzles, coloring pages, a leveled-memory matching game and musical instrument, as well as tap-and-play interactivity.”

Wohoo! Today marks the day that Disney’s “The Muppets” is available on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, Digital Download and On-Demand formats! The movie stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams and all of our favorite Muppets characters in an exciting adventure to save the Muppet theater! The movie is complete with jokes you would expect to hear from the Muppets, and Jason and Amy do nothing but add value to the movie in every scene!
We received the Wocka Wocka Combo Pack of the movie, which includes three discs:

the Wocka Wocka Combo Pack also includes a download card for “The Muppets” soundtrack! We thought this was a huge added bonus, and would highly recommend this combo pack for anyone who is a fan of the Muppets!

There’s a new app called “Toy Story Showtime!” and we can’t get enough of it! Here’s a description of the app:

Disney has released a new app based on the It’s A Small World ride at the Disney Parks! The app is available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and it takes users on an illustrated and interactive journey around the world.
Here’s a description:
“This animated app features whimsical interactive features, beautiful artwork from illustrator Joey Chou, and unforgettable music from the original Sherman Brothers’ song lyrics. The ‘It’s a Small World’ app is available for $3.99 from the App Store on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.”
