While there was talk that Disney was moving ahead with a “Frozen 2” movie it turns out that is not the case – yet! “Frozen” co-director Chris Buck told Yahoo!:
Everyone’s asking if there will be a ‘Frozen 2′, but at the Studio there’s been absolutely no talk about it. Jen [Lee] and I will start working on something different in the upcoming months, and then development will begin, but no word on a sequel!
Chris also revealed about making a “Frozen” sequel movie in the future:
John Lasseter has always said it’s up to the filmmakers. If they feel there’s another story to tell and one that’s equal to the first, then the studio will support it, as will John. He’s there to guide us to the best story we can get. It has to be our passion to do another, seeing as they take three or four years! If there’s a story we feel passionate about then the Studio would support us.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shailene Woodley shared her reaction to the final “Divergent” book “Allegiant” being split into two films. Shailene revealed during her interview:
I am excited, but my very first thought, if I’m being honest was, ‘Okay. All right. Another year devoted to this character.’ But that’s all right, because I am honored to be Tris, and it is exciting.
Shailene also added:
Divergent was a very fun film to make, and I worked with some great people. It is also really exciting that just after coming off promoting this one, we start filming the next one in like a month. It will be nice to get into it.
Here are the release dates for the next three movies in the “Divergent” franchise:
“Insurgent” March 20, 2015
“Allegiant” Part 1 March 18, 2016
