“Frozen” Wins Favorite Soundtrack at 2014 AMAs

Disney’s “Frozen” soundtrack wins the favorite soundtrack of 2014 at the American Music Awards.

The soundtrack has sold over 3 million copies since being released November 25, 2013! It consists of 10 original songs written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. There are also 22 score pieces by Christopher Beck.

To date the movie “Frozen” is the highest-grossing animated film of all time!

The soundtrack features the Oscar-winning song “Let It Go.” The official video from Disney has been viewed on YouTube almost 370 million times!

Sunday, November 23, at the American Music Awards show Selena Gomez got very emotional while performing “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” During Selena’s heartbreaking performance, her BFF Taylor Swift was seen teary eyed in the audience.

Toward the end of the performance, Selena’s eyes welled up with tears and she began to cry. The audience seemed somewhat stunned to see a performer sing with such raw emotion.
