Deadly Accident At The Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway

Exotic Driving Experience Disney

We are so sad to report that a deadly accident took place at the Walt Disney World Speedway this week. On Sunday a passenger at the Exotic Driving Experience died in a crash.

A 24-year-old man was at the wheel of a Lamborghini on the race track when he lost control and while he was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries, the 36-year-old driving instructor died in the passenger seat at the time of the crash.

Here is a message from the company Petty Holdings, which operates the Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway and the Richard Petty Driving Experience:

“On behalf of everyone in the organization, it is with a very heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to those involved in today’s tragic accident in Orlando.”

It has also been reported that both race tracks are slated to close this summer for unrelated reasons, and that the Exotic Driving Experience will shut down for the next week to mourn the passing of its employee.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of everyone involved in the crash.
