There is a new iPhone application for fans of the Disney Parks to use in order to find all of the known Hidden Mickeys.
The app has a scavenger hunt structure and offers clues and hints for park visitors to help them track down the Hidden Mickeys. By finding Hidden Mickeys, app users will raise their score, which they can then share with fans from around the world through both the application and through Facebook.
The application also uses GPS tracking to display the Hidden Mickeys closest to the fans using the application at the time – wow!
Will any of you be using this feature?

Have you ever heard of Hidden Mickeys? There are hundreds of Hidden Mickeys hidden inside all of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks.
A Hidden Mickey is made up of three circles (in the shape of a Mickey head!). These can be made up of anything, from stones on the ground, three round trees next to each other, or carved into the wood on a ride!
Author Steve Barrett has just introduced the 4th edition of “Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide To Walt Disney World’s Best Kept Secrets.” He will also soon be re-releasing the second edition of his book about the Hidden Mickeys at Disneyland.
Each of Steve’s books includes the newest spotted Hidden Mickeys at the parks.
What we find most interesting is that Steve did not become interested in finding Hidden Mickeys at the Disney theme parks until the day he saw groups of people at the parks carrying around sheets of paper, arguing over whether a certain object, or group of objects, was in fact a Hidden Mickey. That was SO us and our family! Every trip to Disney we would print out pages and pages of Hidden Mickey sightings and try to verify them while we were at the parks, as well as search for ones that had never been found before!
The image above is a Hidden Mickey that we found when we are at Disney a week ago. It was at the Animal Kingdom theme park in Florida.
