A new show has debuted at the Disney California Adventure park called “Disney Channel Rocks.” The new show features performers who sing and dance live to music from some of the hottest Disney Channel shows and movies, including:
- Hannah Montana
- Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam
- Sonny With A Chance
- Shake It Up!
- JONAS
- StarStruck
- And More
“Disney Channel Rocks” is a 17-minute show consisting of 12 songs. You can watch a clip of the new show in the video below and be sure to let us know if you see this show live!
Bummer! After just two seasons the Disney Channel has decided not to renew the Jonas Brothers’ show “JONAS L.A.” Apparently while the show had a lot of viewers (averaging 3.7 million per episode) it wasn’t enough to cut it on the channel. Turns out that the big shows on the network reach between 4 and 7 million viewers per episode.
We had a feeling that the show was going to be canceled though. And not just because of the ratings.
The Jonas Brothers, Nick, Joe and Kevin, have been so busy doing their own things lately that we were wondering if they would even have time to fit in another season of “JONAS.” Joe has been working on new solo music and on television shows while Nick is planning on guest starring on TV shows in the near future and we’re sure we’ll see some new music from him and his band The Administration within the next couple of years. As for Kevin he is recently married and we’re sure he would like to spend some time with his wife Danielle and he has been rumored to want to start a family soon.
While we’re pretty upset that “JONAS L.A.” will not be coming back to the Disney Channel we are excited to see where the Jonas Brothers go in the next year. We can’t wait to see the projects they work on and hear the music they release! What about you?
Rumors have been flying since the second season of the Jonas Brothers’ Disney Channel Original Series “JONAS L.A.” ended before an announcement of a third season was made, that there won’t be a third season of the show. As much as we would like to see Nick, Joe and Kevin joined on screen again by co-stars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson we wonder if the guys are too busy doing their own thing to come back to Disney for another season.
Currently Kevin is busy being married, and rumors have been flying that he and Danielle may even be expecting a baby Jonas! Joe has been busy securing guest roles on a number of TV shows and has announced that he and Tom Hanks are working on putting a new show together. While Nick has been busy with stage productions and also securing guest roles on TV shows. Unless the guys manage to free up some time in the coming months we’re not seeing how a third season of the show could be filmed.

On Sunday, October 3rd the season finale of “JONAS L.A” will be airing on the Disney Channel and it looks like fans are in for some serious drama when Stella (Chelsea Staub) takes off and Joe has to try to stop her at the airport before her flight leaves. Joe also has to try to make it back in time for the huge concert the guys are throwing for their fans – uh oh!
