Now that Disney owns Pixar, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, they have a lot of films being released in 2015!
From Star Wars and Marvel superheroes to a live-action version of “Cinderella,” Disney will dominate the box office in 2015!
Disney has some of the biggest stars in the movies this year too, including Cate Blanchett, George Clooney, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Kevin Costner, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr.
Here is a list of the 12 Disney movies coming out in 2015 in order of release date.

Synopsis: What would happen if the awesome fantasy of Star Wars combined with Shakespeare? This movie answers that question. George Lucas’ animated version of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” features fairies, elves, imps and goblins and their adventures revolving around a weird potion.

The new trailer is out for Marvel’s new Avengers movie, “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Ultron returns to cause even more trouble for our heroes in the new movie which is scheduled to hit theaters May 1, 2015!
The movie is about Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as he tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and it is up to the Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.

So far for 2014, Disney reached $4 Billion at the global box office. Disney also topped $4 Billion last year, but this year they have reached it two weeks sooner! This puts Disney in second place in the market share behind 20th Century Fox.
Disney said that the biggest contributors to its 2014 numbers were Marvel films “Guardians of the Galaxy” ($770 million), “Maleficent” ($758 million), the 2013 released “Frozen” ($733 million), and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” ($714.7 million).
Disney has one more major movie due to be released this year, its big screen adaption of the Broadway classic “Into the Woods.” It will open in the United States on Christmas day.
