Today, November 17th, Buena Vista Home Entertainment and Miramax Films have released three Classic Kevin Smith comedies in one must-own Blu-ray Box Set!

We thought this was a very entertaining movie with a great message and we would highly recommend it! Michelle Pfeiffer does such a great job in the movie and nobody can deny that Rupert Friend is a handsome actor and that Katy Bates is hilarious!

Walt Disney Studios has recently announced that it will be laying off 50 out of the 75 employees working at Miramax Films.
In the last few years Miramax has produced movies including “No Country for Old Men,” and “The Queen.”
The studio will now only be producing 3 films a year rather than the typical 8 films a year.

The re-released Kung Fu action classic Hero (2002) came out this past Tuesday September 15, 2009 on Special Edition Blu-ray and DVD from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Miramax Films, Directed By Yimou Zhang and starring Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Maggie Cheung and Ziyi Zhang.
Hero is a beautifully cinematic action flick with a romantic undertone that keeps you putting the pieces to the puzzle together and always keeps you asking for more. As the story unwinds you see the cinematic beauty that China has to offer along with jaw dropping speacial effects that still ring true nearly 7 years from it’s original theatrical release.
