It looks like Mitchel Musso is what made Disney XD’s “Pair Of Kings” popular, because Disney has decided not to renew the show for a fourth season. Mitchel was a part of the show for two seasons before receiving a DUI for driving under the influence and removing himself from the show.
Mitchel was replaced on the show by Disney XD’s “Zeke & Luther” star Adam Hicks, and fans flipped. As much as fans might love Adam, they weren’t huge fans of him on the show, and many felt that a DUI was not a good reason for Mitchel to be pulled from the show. Maybe people would have thought it was serious if he had in fact injured or killed someone while driving drunk, but because he was lucky and didn’t it isn’t viewed as a serious issue by many of his fans. Which is unfortunate.
Either way “Pair Of Kings” will not be returning for another season. Bummer!

A new Halloween episode of Disney XD’s “Pair Of Kings” will air on October 15, 2012 titled “King Vs. Wild.” Here’s a description of the episode from the network:
After all that Boomer has taught Boz about living in the civilized world, Boz decides to address Boomer’s lack of survival skills and forces him to go camping. Although Boomer is resistant at first, he has no choice but to become a fast learner and use his newfound skills when the camping trip goes awry, and he needs to help Boz fight for their lives against a jungle werewolf.

So now comes the big question…will there be a season 4 of the show?
This was a transitional year for “Pair Of Kings.” The show lost one of its lead stars Mitchel Musso and added Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther” star Adam Hicks to the cast. Fans of the show were disappointed to lose Mitchel, and many refused to even tune in this season because he wasn’t part of the series. Chances are this season of “Pair Of Kings” didn’t have the ratings that the last two seasons did, but we don’t know for sure.
There’s nothing to do but wait to see if “Pair Of Kings” will come back again, and there’s no word yet on when Disney plans to make that decision.
