Brad Bird Begins Writing Disney Pixar’s “Incredibles” Sequel Movie

Incredible news! Brad Bird has just started writing “The Incredibles” sequel movie!

It’s unclear if the plot for the sequel movie is already mapped out, or if Brad is just starting to come up with ideas for the animated adventure. No word yet when Disney Pixar plans to release the project, but if it could be tomorrow that would be lovely – k thx bye!

Samuel L. Jackson previously commented on how big a role his character Frozone might play in the sequel! We hope this still reigns true!

Second Trailer For Disney Pixar’s “Inside Out” Gets Emotional

The second trailer for Disney Pixar’s upcoming movie “Inside Out” is here. In the trailer you will get to meet all of the “Inside Out” characters, and you will also get to see a bunch of locations they visit throughout the movie – this is the first time we are seeing these intriguing locals!

List Of Disney Movies That Are Coming To Theaters In 2015

Now that Disney owns Pixar, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, they have a lot of films being released in 2015!

From Star Wars and Marvel superheroes to a live-action version of “Cinderella,” Disney will dominate the box office in 2015!

Disney has some of the biggest stars in the movies this year too, including Cate Blanchett, George Clooney, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Kevin Costner, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr.

Here is a list of the 12 Disney movies coming out in 2015 in order of release date.

Strange Magic
Release date: January 23, 2015

Cast: Evan Rachel Wood, Alan Cumming, Maya Rudolph, Kristin Chenoweth, Alfred Molina.

Synopsis: What would happen if the awesome fantasy of Star Wars combined with Shakespeare? This movie answers that question. George Lucas’ animated version of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” features fairies, elves, imps and goblins and their adventures revolving around a weird potion.

Full List And History Of Disney’s Most Iconic Disney Princesses

Missing from the picture above is Merida, she missed the photo shoot because she was off winning an archery competition, but she sends her regards! The official list of Disney Princesses include 11, the original nine were: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan and Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell has since been removed leaving 8.

The list expanded to include: Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida. And hopefully in the very near future Disney will add Anna and Elsa to the list!

Each princess is required to have a primary role in a Disney animated feature film, be human or human-like and not appear primarily in a sequel.

Some have been born into royalty: Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Merida and Pocahontas. While others became royal by marriage: Cinderella, Belle and Tiana. Mulan is the only one who is neither royal by birth or marriage.

Disney Pixar Reveals “Finding Dory” Plot

The “Finding Nemo” sequel, “Finding Dory” plot has just been revealed! Pixar president Jim Morris talked about the new film with “THR” at Comic Con Experience in Brazil this weekend.

Most of the film is set in the Marine Biology Institute of California, a large rehabilitation facility for marine life.

Here’s what Jim Morris said about the film:

Dory finds out that she was born there and was freed into the ocean at a young age. Dory is inspired to embark on a journey in search of her parents after she joins Nemo on a school trip to watch the migration of manta rays.

Nemo and Marlin will join Dory on her adventure to California. There will be several new characters introduced in this film, including a whale, sea lions and an octopus.

Here’s a list of the characters and the actors voicing them in the film:

Dory – Ellen DeGeneres
Dory’s Mom – Diane Keaton
Dory’s Dad – Eugene Levy
Marlin – Albert Brooks
Whale – Ty Burrell

Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Get New Presidents

Andrew Millstein has been promoted to president of Walt Disney Animation and Jim Morris has also been promoted to be the new president of Pixar.

Andrew had joined Disney in 1997 and was the executive VP and general manager of Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Morris had been president of Lucas Digital before becoming the general manager and executive VP of production for Pixar.

Both men will continue to oversee business operations and productions at their companies. They will report to Ed Catmull the president of both Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios.

Here’s what Ed had to say about the promotions,

We’re fortunate and proud to have an abundance of strong creative leadership at Disney, and Andrew and Jim are two incredible talents that embody the perfect blend of business and artistic focus. Not only have they done so much to ensure each of their studios is operating at peak condition, they continually push their teams to new heights of creativity, storytelling and innovation.
