Watch the interview below and see how Lorde became Taylor’s manager for a night!
What do you think, did Lorde do a good job as Taylor’s manager for the night?
Taylor Swift will be on the cover of the January 2015 issue of “ASOS” magazine. In her interview with the magazine she talks about how she puts her “ladies” first:
When I’m getting dressed, it’s always based on what my friends will think. They are my number-one priority, and the opinions of girls are more important to me at this point in my life.
Taylor went on to say:
A lot of ‘celebrities’ surround themselves with these very chic cling-ons who don’t really have much of a job or a passion. They follow around their celebrity BFF and provide constant affirmation for them, and I’m really not interested in that kind of deal.
She surrounds herself with women who have “their own lives and their own busy schedules,” like, Selena Gomez, Lorde and Karlie Kloss. She listens to them when they offer her constructive criticism.
Taylor talked about receiving criticism:
The first step to receiving negativity is to decide whether or not it is the opinion of somebody that you care about. If it’s somebody that I respect, then I really do take it into account because ‘haters gonna hate’ only applies to people who are simply criticizing you because their life sucks.
We are glad that she is able to ignore the negative criticism that some people like to give her because she is a celebrity. Keep being strong Taylor!
