Taylor Swift News, Gossip and Photos
Taylor Swift is on the cover of the November/December 2014 issue of Wonderland magazine. The issue is due out Thursday November 13th.
In her interview with the magazine Taylor had this to say about her fifth studio album, ‘1989’ being a Pop album,
This was sort of the final phase of the sonic evolution I feel I’ve been on for the last couple of years. I’ve been experimenting with pop sensibilities and then on my last record, I got attached to it. That’s the wonderful thing about trying as many different ways of writing music as possible-discoveries.
Taylor goes on to talk about being single and says,
I’ve been with myself for so long now, I like it. I’m not willing to give up that independence for anyone. Basically, there’s the tiniest, tiniest, tiniest chance you might find someone you can have a real and long-lasting relationship with. In my teenage years, I was enamored by the idea of romance because I thought it was going to be this ‘happily ever after situation.’
Taylor also talked about what she thought about Twitter’s ‘dark underbelly’, she said,
Twitter’s dark underbelly is that it gives people a veil of anonymity: they can have a terrible day, come home and get drunk and go call someone ugly on Instagram. If people don’t have anyone to talk to about (their problems), they go online and just say wicked, gross, cruel mean-spirited things about people. I wrote ‘Shake It Off’ for my own situation, but also for the situation that everyone finds themselves in now. It’s not a celebrity issue, it’s a people issue.
Taylor certainly had some interesting things to say, it’s nice that she is a happy single independent woman, but we’re still hoping she finds her “happily ever after.”
On Sunday November 9 during a ‘Google Hangout’, Harry Styles was asked by his friend Ben Winston what it was like to be the speculative subject of Taylor Swift songs like “Out of the Woods,” “Style,” and others. Harry answered,
We write from personal experience, I think everyone does. So it would be hypocritical of us to be like, ‘Oh, you can’t write about us.’
Taylor and Harry dated in 2012. Taylor had confessed to ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine that her relationship and breakup with Harry was the bases for much of the material for her hugely successful new album, ‘1989’.
Taylor told ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine that her second single from ‘1989, “Out of the Woods,” was a look back at an anxiety-riddled relationship. Taylor said:
Every day was a struggle. Forget making plans for life – we were just trying to make it to next week.
Harry actually praised Taylor for her talent saying,
She’s really good, so… they’re good songs. So I’m really lucky in that sense.
Sounds to us like Harry Styles has a lot of respect for Taylor Swift and her enormous talent for expressing her feelings through her music.
We have to say we can’t get enough of the new video from Taylor Swift who just officially released her latest music video for “Blank Space”.
Taylor tweeted earlier today,
GUYS. Blank Space Music Video Directed by @JosephKahn Co-Starring @Seanopry55
In the video model Sean O’Pry and Taylor are in love, but Sean is caught texting with another woman and that causes Taylor to get her revenge on him.
Taylor always seems to find a way to bring all of her exes into the mix with her music and we are loving it with this one!

In a previous article on our site we showed you the new mashup of a 1989 Aerobics video and Taylor Swift’s song ‘Shake It Off.” Well Taylor saw the video today and tweeted
A sneak peak at the official “Shake it Off” choreography for the 1989 World Tour.
That would be pretty funny if Taylor did a 80’s aerobic spoof on her next tour. Click here to bring you to the video on our site.
Plus, check out Taylor’s new “Shake It Off” music video below! The song is off of her “1989” album, which is getting rave reviews from fans and from Taylor’s fellow celebrities!
You may have heard that Taylor Swift recently pulled all of her music from the music streaming service, Spotify.
In a recent interview with Yahoo! Music Taylor defended her decision,
If I had streamed the new album, it’s impossible to try to speculate what would have happened. But all I can say is that music is changing so quickly, and the landscape of the music industry itself is changing so quickly, that everything new, like Spotify, all feels to me a bit like a grand experiment. And I’m not willing to contribute my life’s work to an experiment that I don’t feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists, and creators of this music. And I just don’t agree with perpetuating the perception that music has no value and should be free.
Taylor goes on to say,
A lot of people were suggesting to me that I try putting new music on Spotify with ‘Shake It Off,’ and so I was open-minded about it. I thought, ‘I will try this; I’ll see how it feels.’ It didn’t feel right to me. I felt like I was saying to my fans, ‘If you create music someday, if you create a painting someday, someone can just walk into a museum, take it off the wall, rip off a corner off it, and it’s theirs now and they don’t have to pay for it.’ I didn’t like the perception that it was putting forth. And so I decided to change the way I was doing things.
Have you ever listened to Spotify? What do you think of Taylor’s decision to pull her music off of the site?
Yesterday Jared Padelecki, star of The WB show, “Supernatural” tweeted, “Thank GOD I don’t have to worry about @taylorswift13 turning on whenever I’m using @Spotify #CanBieberQuitSpotifyNextPlease?”
Jared is referring to Talyor Swift pulling her music from the popular music-streaming service Spotify.
Taylor defended her decision by saying,
All I can say is that music is changing so quickly, and the landscape of the music industry itself is changing so quickly, that everything new, like Spotify, all feels to me a bit like a grand experiment.
Taylor also said in an inerview with Yahoo! Music,
And I’m not willing to contribute my life’s work to an experiment that I don’t feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists, and creators of this music.
Well it doesn’t sound like Taylor will be letting her music back on Spotify any time soon. Do you think other artists will follow along with Taylor? Maybe Jared Padelecki will be happy soon and not have to listen to the music of Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber…
Have you seen the latest mashup of Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ music mixed with an aerobic dance video from 1989? It’s like it’s supposed to be that way all along!
Thomas Jung originally found the classic video from 1989 and decided to pair it up with Taylor’s smash hit ‘Shake It Off.’
Check out the mashup below and let us know what you think.
