The action-packed vampire movie “Fright Night” is now available on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and On-Demand. The DreamWorks Pictures movie stars Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, and Imogen Poots.

The movie is great for anyone who loves scary movies that aren’t TOO scary! The plot moves a bit fast, and the characters seem to catch on and be totally cool with a vampire (Colin Farrell) living in their neighborhood a bit more quickly than we imagine we would, but we’re glad for it since they are able to fight back when the vampire lashes out! We’re huge fans of Toni Collette, so we were glad to see her in the movie, and Colin played a believable vampire for sure!

Here’s the description of the movie:

“Charley (Anton Yelchin) is a high school senior who’s on top of the world – he’s running with the popular crowd and dating Amy (Imogen Poots), the most coveted girl in school. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a nice guy––at first. But there’s something not quite right, and no one else, including Charley’s mom (Toni Collette) seems to notice. After his classmates start to mysteriously disappear without a trace, Charlie discovers that there is more to his new neighbor than meets the eye. Now he must do all he can to protect his mom and girlfriend Amy from meeting the same fate as his best friend Ed Thompson (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).”

“Fright Night” has a bunch of awesome bonus features. Here are the Blu-ray bonus features:

- Gag Reel (unrated)
- Kid Cudi Music Video (uncensored version) “No One Believes Me”
- Squid Man – Extended And Uncut

And here are the DVD bonus features:

DVD Bonus Features:

- “The Living Proof” Music Video By Mary J. Blige

We really enjoyed the novel “The Help,” so we were really excited to see the film. We think that the cast was great and they really fit the characters that author Kathryn Stockett portrayed in the book. We only wish the movie had been longer! There were so many great parts of the novel that the director worked hard to fit into the film, and some of the meaning behind the events was lost with the story having to be so condensed. Also, there were other parts of the book that we really enjoyed reading about that didn’t make it into the movie. Maybe Kathryn will write another book about these characters and a second movie can be made to go into more detail – that would be great!

We highly recommend seeing “The Help,” but we also recommend reading the book first! Let us know if you do!
