We were lucky enough to have some of our pressing questions about Walt Disney Pictures’ movie “The Muppets” answered by none other than Kermit The Frog! Here are our questions and his answers!
What was it like working with Jason Segel?
“Jason Segel is fantastic. Not only is he very funny and very talented, (He co-wrote ‘The Muppets’ as well as co-starring in it), but he’s also a huge fan. He knows more about the Muppets than we know about ourselves. A bit spooky, especially when he remembered my locker combination. How did he know that? But we had a great time working with him. Jason, we love you!”
You must love sharing the screen with Miss Piggy! What’s your favorite thing about working with her?
“Miss Piggy and I have a certain chemistry on screen. I can’t explain it, but sparks fly when we’re together in front of the camera. (Actually, with Piggy, sparks fly pretty much all the time.) I think that’s the part I like the best. We’ve worked together for so long that we know each others rhythms and we have as much fun making the movie as, I hope, you have watching it.”
Do you have any tips for aspiring actors?
“Never ever get between Miss Piggy and the camera. Very, very, very important.”
If you could sing a duet with any artist, who would it be?
“I have to say Miss Piggy…I have to say that because she might read this. But I wouldn’t mind doing a duet with Taylor Swift or Beyonce or someone like that.”
There are rumors that you’ll be reprising your role in another Muppets movie, can you tell us anything about that?
“All I can say is that there will be another movie and the story is so top secret that even the scriptwriters don’t know what it is. Stay tuned.”
