Corbin Bleu Reivers, born February 21, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. Corbin is most famously known for his role in High School Musical as Chad Danforth. Growing up with an actor for a father, David Reivers, Corbin’s talent came naturally.

When he was only seven years old he appeared in an episode of “ER” and continued to make guest appearances on many well-known TV series like “Malcom & Eddie”, “Cover Me”, and the “The Amanda Show”. He attended the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in his early teen years and the Los Angels County High School for the Arts as a theater major.

While still in school, Corbin was cast in the lead role for the movie, Catch That Kid in 2004 with Twilight star Kristen Stewart. Shortly thereafter he joined the cast of “Flight 29 Down”, a Discovery Kids series. A year later he landed the role of Chad Danforth in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical. In November 2006, he also toured with his HSM cast on a 40-city tour for several months in 2006.

Running on the heels of his new-found fame after High School Musical, Corbin signed a deal with Hollywood Records and released his first solo album in May of 2007, Another Side. His first single, Push It to the Limit, was also used as the theme song to his movie, Jump In!, which Corbin played the star role of Izzy Daniels. That same year Corbin reprised his role as Chad Danforth alongside Zac Efron in High School Musical 2 and then again in 2008 in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Also in 2008, Corbin was nominated for a NAACP Image Award for Best New Artist. Corbin just recently released his second album, Speed of Light, featuring his new single, and theme song to the Disney Channel’s Original Movie, Minuteman, Run It Back Again, was one of the top ten downloaded songs from iTunes. He recently just finished his last film, Free Style. Not only did Corbin star in this film but he was also one of the movie’s producers.

With his wide range of talents from acting, singing, dancing, and producing, Corbin is sure to move up in the Disney celebrity rankings.
