Born Emily Jordan Osment on March 10, 1992, this seventeen-year old stars alongside Miley Cyrus in the Disney Channel’s Original Series “Hannah Montana” as Lilly Truscott, Miley’s best friend. Growing up in Los Angeles, California with brother and famed actor, Haley 
Joel Osment, Emily began her career in the entertainment industry at the young age of six first appearing in a commercial for flower delivery company FTD. She not only followed in her brother’s acting footsteps, but her father, Eugene Osment, has also appeared in various films and is set to appear alongside Emily in her movie debut Soccer Mom.

Emily began her career acting in numerous commercials but finally made it to the big screen in 1999’s film The Secret Life of Girls, featuring Eugene Levy and Linda Hamilton. That same year she co-starred alongside Glenn Close in the Hallmark Classic TV movie Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winter’s End. Her role in this film earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award.

The years following her film break, Emily made appearances on TV shows like “Touched by an Angel”, “Friends”, and “3rd Rock from the Sun”. In 2002 she landed a role in Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams as character Gerti Giggles. In 2003, she reprised her role in Sky Kids 3-D: Game Over. Her role in Spy Kids 2 finally awarded her with the Young Artist Award for best performance in a feature film.

After her award-winning performances in two of the Spy Kids trilogy, Emily landed the role of Lilly Truscott in the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana”. Once again, Emily earned a nomination for a Young Artist Award in 2007 for her role in the series. Testing out her styling talents, Emily helped design pieces from the Hannah Montana clothing collection.

Sticking to fashion, in 2007 Emily signed a deal with the New York-based denim brand Vanilla Star to appear in their nationwide campaign called “Smart Girls Rock”. She also designed a line of T-shirts for 2lovecollection.com. The T-shirts support Make a Wish Foundation and the St. Jude Research Hospital. In that same year, Emily lent her voice to Disney’s animated movie Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.
A big year for Emily, she also jump-started her music career in 2007 by recording a number of songs with Disney and even providing vocals for Billy Ray Cyrus’s song “You’ve Got a Friend”. She began working on her debut album in 2008 of which she wrote the majority of the songs.
