Born in Texas, Mitchel Musso is best known for his role in the Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana. Mitchel will be reprising the role in the upcoming Hannah Montana: The Movie. Mitchel also plays a lead role in the Disney Channel Original Movie Hatching Pete and has been a voice for a character in the hit Disney series Phineas and Ferb and the movie Monster House.
Making his first acting debut in the feature film, Secondhand Lions, alongside his brother Marc and co-star Emily Osment’s brother, Haley Joel Osment, Mitchel only twelve years old when he first hit the big screen. Following his debut, Mitchel made several guest appearances on TV series and made-for-TV movies including Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire in 2005.
Mitchel starred in his first Disney Channel Original Movie in 2005 as well, Life is Ruff, playing the role of Raymond Figg. The following year, in 2006, Mitchel landed the role of Oliver in the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana”. Since then he has also lent his voice to the Academy Award-nominated film Monster House as DJ and the Disney Channel’s series “Phineas and Ferb” as Jeremy.
Adding singing to his repertoire, Mitchel recorded a number of songs with Disney and debuted his first single, The In Crowd, in December of 2008. That same year, Mitchel toured with Corbin Bleu and appeared in the song, The Best of Both Worlds, during the Best of Both Worlds Tour with Miley Cyrus. He is working on his first album with Walt Disney Records due out June 2, 2009. Mitchel will also be reprising his role as Oliver in the upcoming Hannah Montana: The Movie.
