Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Expierence
The Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience was similar to the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana: Best Of Both Worlds Concert. Both concerts came to theaters in 3D. However on DVD the Jonas Brothers: The Concert Experience was not in 3D.
The movie shows the Jonas Brothers performing at their Burnin’ Up Tour as well as shows them going to and from press meetings and running away from screaming fans. And we even get to see the boys shirtless as they change behind stage!
Special guests Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Big Rob join Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas on their tour through the United States.
When Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience premiered in theaters it didn’t even get to number one at the box office. It remained at number two, even in its first weekend in theaters.
After Walt Disney executives saw how many people wanted to see Miley Cyrus’ concert in theaters they rented out twice as many for the JoBros concert, however it was way too many. Not only was the economy in a poor state, but the JoBros flair was wearing off with fans and even though their concerts all sold out, their movie theater seats did not.
The 3D Concert Experience was expected to bring in $40 million in its first weekend, however it only drew in $12.7 million. In comparison, the Hannah Montana 3D Best of Both Worlds Concert earned 3 times that amount in its first weekend (and was in half the amount of theaters).
