The Walt Disney Company is the largest media and entertainment corporation in the entire world. Walt Disney and his brother Roy Disney founded the company on October 16, 1923, and chances are neither brother had any idea how huge it would become. The Walt Disney Company began as a film studio and has developed into a company that releases projects on not only film but also television, radio and CDs.

Just a few short years ago Disney released albums of numerous celebrities, who may or may not have also been on television shows or films produced by the company, however today it is rare to see a Disney singing artist who is not also an actor on the Disney Channel or in a recent Disney Movie.

Just look at Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato. Each one of these talented Disney Stars got their start acting on the Disney Channel or singing on Disney Records and has been branched into each other medium owned by Disney.
