Ashley Tisdale began the rise of her music career when she was 12 years old. At this young age Ashley was invited to the White House to sing for the current president at the time Bill Clinton.

Ashley is best known for her role as Sharpay Evens in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical. Ashley reprised her role in both High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior year – which debuted theaters. The songs Ashley sings in HSM hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and because of this, she became the first female artist ever to debut two songs at the same time on the Hot 100 chart.

In 2006 Ashley was signed by Warner Bros. Records, releasing her first solo album in Feburary 2007 titled Headstrong. This album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Ashley’s second album, Guilty Pleasure, is set to hit stores in June 2009. The first single off of the album is titled It’s Alright It’s OK!
