Miley Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992. The name Miley is short for Smiley – a nickname given to Miley by her parents when she was little. On the popular Disney show Hannah Montana, Miley plays both Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana. Miley reprises the role in the Disney movie which hit the big screens: Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Miley has recently branched off from her Disney ties and has released what she claims to be her last pop album titled “Can’t Be Tamed,” and recently acted in the film “The Last Song,” where she met her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on set!
Miss Miley is our favorite Disney good girl gone bad. But Miley will never go away, no matter how many negative stories are written about her, she will always be around – whether her face is plastered on our TV or movie theater screens or on our backpacks, folders, binders, and posters on our walls.
Miley Cyrus is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, and half-sister of Trace Cyrus of the ex-band Metro Station. Miley’s younger sister Noah Cyrus is getting into acting and singing just like her big sis!

hye i like miley but i don’t like hannah it sounds wierd how can u like one half and not the other well i can but after seeing hmtm (hannah montana the movie) i have got a lot more respect for hannah i have seen the movie twice and both times i cried at the part were she is walking round in that revolving door and that little hannah fan sees her take off the wig and then when lucas walks into the revolving door and sees her holding the wig then when shes chasing after him and then she runs off up the stairs crying. i think the movie brought out her best acting and singin. xx love u miley no matta what the media sez ur always gunna be my role model ciao xx
