Actors Elle Fanning, Miranda Richardson and Imelda Staunton have been cast in the live-action Disney movie “Maleficent.” Elle will play the role of Princess Aurora opposite Angelina Jolie as Maleficent. Then, Miranda and Imelda will play two of Aurora’s guardian fairies, but no word yet on who the third fairy will be!
Actress India Eisley was also just cast in the movie as a young Maleficent character.
“Maleficent” is slated to arrive in theaters on March 14, 2014. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more!
ABC Family’s “The Secret Life Of The American Teenager” star India Eisley has been cast in Walt Disney Pictures movie “Maleficent” as a younger Angelina Jolie! Angelia will play the character Maleficent, and we assume that when India is on the screen it will be before Maleficent became a villain!

Actor Sharlto Copley is currently in talks to join Walt Disney Pictures movie “Maleficent” as the character King Stefan. Sharlto has starred in “District 9″ and “The A-Team.”
If Sharlto joins the film we have a feeling he will share a lot of screen time with Angelina Jolie, who is set to play Maleficent.

The live-action film explores the origins of the evil fairy Maleficent and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty. Leading a team of visionary filmmakers known for creating and transporting audiences to new and exciting worlds, Academy Award-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful) will direct with a script by Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland). Maleficent is produced by Joe Roth (Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful).
