As of November 13, 2010 the Jonas Brothers World Tour / Camp Rock 2 Tour is officially over. Some of the performers took to Twitter to Tweet their disappointment, including Nick Jonas who wrote:
This is pretty sad. The Camp Rock 2/Jonas Brothers tour for 2010 is all done. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows. Love you all.
“Camp Rock 2″ star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle added:
Can’t believe tour is over..such a bittersweet feeling..I love my tour family. Great people, great experience. :’(
Joe Jonas Tweeted:
What a tour. Thank you to everyone who came out to see the show. And everyone involved in the tour. #goodbyeJonasWorldtour
Did you get a chance to see the Jonas Brothers and the cast of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” on tour?
To be honest the first thing we thought when we heard that Jason Mraz came out and said that his song “I’m Yours” sounds a lot like Nick Jonas’ song “Introducing Me” from the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” was, “that took him long enough!”
We thought the two songs sounded similar from the second we heard “Introducing Me” on the “Camp Rock 2″ soundtrack and we’re surprised it took Jason this long to not only say something about the song, but also to hear it!
Here’s what Jason said in a recent statement to Popeater.com:
Somebody told me about it. They were like, ‘You’ve got to check this song out, man. It’s a total rip-off of ‘I’m Yours.’ And they’re like, ‘You should do something about it,’ which isn’t my style. If anybody attributes your music or melody in some way, it’s an honor. [But] there’s something to be said about completely ripping it off ’cause that’s your livelihood, and I have to support my family on the songs that I write and not just give it away. I heard the song, and it was just a tremendous, tremendous horror of a tune. I noticed a few similarities in the melody, but it wasn’t enough to pick up the phone and argue with somebody about it. If anything, I just wanted my $1.29 back that I spent on iTunes.
Ouch! Compare the two songs for yourself below and let us know what you think!
Kevin Jonas Sr. took to his Twitter account to post these photos of his sons, the Jonas Brothers, along with some of the cast of the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” on their way to Mexico and South America! Here’s what he posted with the photo above:
