The Walt Disney Company has proved that it has a new priority, Disney Baby. Now, in 580 maternity hospitals in the US a Disney representative visits new moms and offers a free Disney Cuddly Bodysuit for their new baby.
After receiving the free gift mothers are then offered the opportunity to sign up for email alerts from DisneyBaby.com, which makes for a great advertising tactic.
Disney has access to the hospital rooms through a company called Our365, which sells bedside baby pictures to new parents.
Don’t worry if your hospital isn’t on the list to get free gifts for your baby from Disney, Amazon.com will begin selling 85 styles of the Disney bodysuits in May 2011 for a price of $9.99 for two. Other retailers, including Target and Nordstrom, will begin selling Disney Baby items too.
