Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has just released the Disney Junior “Jake And The Never Land Pirates Peter Pan Returns” special to DVD and Digital Copy! Here’s a description of the “Jake And The Never Land Pirates” release:
Peter Pan is back––but his shadow is missing! When Peter loses his shadow while playing a game of Catch-Me-If-You-Can, he returns to Never Land to seek help from his kid pirate friend Jake. Embarking on one of his most daring and exciting adventures ever, Jake and his kid pirate pals, Izzy and Cubby, along with lookout parrot Skully, must use teamwork to find Peter’s shadow and return it to its rightful owner. However, their mission is nearly thwarted by the fiendish Captain Hook, and his bumbling first mate Mr. Smee. But bravery and justice win the day and Jake and his Never Land pirate crew once again reveal what it takes to become heroes, in Disney’s ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns.’Kids can set sail with Jake on Disney DVD April 3. The 2012 Toy Fair took place recently in New York, and Disney Consumer Products revealed a wide array of new toys at the event. Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were at the toy fair, and so were actors David Arquette and Sharon Osbourne, who voice Skully and Mama Hook on Disney Junior’s “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.”

Jake And The Never Land Pirates
“Jake’s Pirate Ship (MSRP $44.99, national retailers, June 2012)— Designed after Bucky, Jake’s ship featured in the series, this swashbuckling pirate ship rocks and rolls when pushed along a surface, with Skully smartly perched on the lookout. Kids can join Jake and his crew to live a pirate’s life through multiple pirate-themed phrases and songs. To really bring the adventure home, kids can fire water out of the cannon or stage a surprise croc attack.”
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Disney Junior has just ordered a third season of its show “Jake And The Never Land Pirates.” Nancy Kanter, Senior Vice President of Original Programming and General Manager of Disney Junior Worldwide revealed:
The series is connecting with kids on every level and brings them closer to characters they’re already familiar with and introduces them to new, original characters they have made their friends. The storytelling is adventurous and heartfelt and embeds the kind of learning that we know is important to parents. We’re pleased to be extending viewers’ experience with the stories, allowing them to play the ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates’ experience.

Three stars from the Disney Channel Original Series “Jessie,” Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar and Skai Jackson, attended the premiere of the Disney Junior special “Jake And The Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns” today in California. The special will premiere on the Disney Channel on February 13, 2012 and it will hit stores on DVD on April 3, 2012.
