According to reports ABC has canceled at least four of their shows:
- Mr Sunshine
- Off the Map
- Detroit 187
- No Ordinary Family
We knew that “No Ordinary Family” was on the way out and we had heard that “Off The Map” wasn’t getting a huge number of viewers, but the other two are news to us. Are you upset that any of these shows are off the air?
One of the stars of ABC’s “No Ordinary Family,” Michael Chiklis, may be the tipping point for ABC choosing to cancel the show. The ratings for “No Ordinary Family” haven’t been very high and now it has been announced that Michael has taken on the lead role in a CBS comedy pilot titled “Vince Uncensored.”
In the show Michael would play a man who has a medical scare and decides to be more honest in his life, even if it hurts. We’ll keep you posted with more details on “No Ordinary Family” and “Vince Uncensored.”
Watch the new “No Ordinary Family” episode “No Ordinary Detention” on ABC on March 8, 2011 at 8pm ET/PT. In the episode Internal Affairs Officer Rachel Jacobs (Joanne Kelly, “Warehouse 13″) investigates reports of a rogue cop while Jim risks revealing himself as the prime suspect when the police station is taken over by thugs and he is the only hope of survival for everyone.
Also during the episode Katie and Stephanie run into Human Resources VP Victoria Morrow (Rebecca Mader, “Lost”) and they begin to suspect that she isn’t who she says she is.

Actress Lucy Lawless, from “Xena” and “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” has just signed on for a recurring role on ABC’s “No Ordinary Family.”
In the show Lucy will play a powerful woman and a potential adversary for the Powell family. Lucy’s role on the show will last at least five episodes.

Actor Anthony Michael Hall, from “The Breakfast Club” and “Sixteen Candles,” will be guest starring on ABC’s show “No Ordinary Family.” Not much is known about Anthony’s role on the show, but we do know that he will interact with actor Michael Chiklis’ character Jim Powell, and that he will be “a force to be reckoned with.”
