“Pirates Of The Caribbean” actress Keira Knightley is engaged to musician James Righton! The duo, who have been dating for 15 months, are keeping the proposal details a secret, and have yet to announce a date for the wedding. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find anything out!

The soft opening for the Pirates Of The Caribbean attraction at Disneyland was March 16, 2012 and the official opening date was March 18, 2012. Below is a video released by the Disney Parks to commemorate the rides’ 45th anniversary! Here’s what was shared along with the video:
“Check out this video with scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean attractions at four Disney theme parks around the globe, plus some fun facts about the attraction at Disneyland park, Tokyo Disneyland, Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Paris (which was the last to open, on April 12, 1992).”

Disney Mobile has launched a new app called Pirates of the Caribbean: Master Of The Seas. The app is free for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and in the game players get to become a pirate, create their own ship, build a crew and embark on a number of quests!
Here are some app features:
- Invite friends to join your crew, the bigger your crew, the stronger you are
- Battle other pirates to gain rewards and increase your standing
- Buy cannons, weapons, amulets, and equipment to upgrade your ship
- Explore exotic islands, buy properties, and compete quests to earn gold and experience

Johnny Depp, who stars in Disney’s “Pirates Of The Caribbean” franchise, has been banned from promoting his new movie “The Rum Diary” on any of the Walt Disney Company’s networks, stations or affiliates. According to reports, Disney doesn’t want the release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” on Blu-ray and DVD to be overshadowed, but we also think it might have something to do with Disney being worried that the more Johnny promotes “The Rum Diary” the less parents will see him as a “family friendly” face and therefore won’t let “Pirates of the Caribbean” into their household.
