ABC’s “LOST” executive producer Carlton Cuse has teamed with Disney’s “Secretariat” movie director Randall Wallace to work on a Civil War drama for the ABC television network.
Carlton and Randall are currently co-writing the pilot script and both guys will be executive producers on the show if it is picked up.
While we really wish “LOST” would come back to ABC we love to hear when people who worked on “LOST” are working on new projects!
AJ Michalka headed into the Radio Disney studio recently where she chatted with RD host Ernie D about hew new song “It’s Who You Are.” The song is the theme song for AJ’s latest film “Secretariat,” which was put out by Walt Disney Pictures.
The director wrote the song for the movie and as soon as AJ proved how great a singer was she ended up singing the theme song.
We love AJ as both an actress and as a singer and have our fingers crossed that she and her sister Aly Michalka come out with a new album soon!
Have you heard “It’s Who You Are” yet? If so, what do you think of AJ’s new song? Also, if you have seen “Secretariat” in movie theaters be sure to share your review with us in the comments section!
In a recent interview Diane Lane, who stars in Disney’s new movie “Secretariat,” talked about how being an actress can be hard because you are forced to spend a lot of time away from your family – something she could relate with her character in “Secretariat,” Penny Chenery, about:
There are very few industries that sequester employees away from their families for two or three months. You’ve got the people on oil rigs, you’ve got astronauts, and you’ve got people in showbiz.
Diane added the following about the scene in the movie where Penny is pictured alone in a hotel room away from her family:
That’s territory that I’m well-versed in, unfortunately. There are moments like that throughout any mother’s life.
Have you seen “Secretariat” in theaters yet? If so, what did you think?
